    Steel housed silicon seal designed to replace the stock two piece rope and steel retainer.  A spring insert keeps the narrower seal in constant contact with the crankshaft balancer for better sealing.

OIL GALLERY PLUGS

    TA's oil gallery plugs are machined to not block off the oil flow on the passenger side of the engine.  All Plugs are Teflon coated to stop gaulding and leaking.

Intake Gaskets
TA Performance intake gaskets are made of a high quality soft material that resists high temperature and conforms to heads for a better seal.  Our gaskets can be easily trimmed to match enlarged ports.  Available in .015", .032", and .062" thick.  Shipped .062" unless specified otherwise.

Copper Head Gaskets
Another TA Performance innovation for Buicks... Copper Head Gaskets.  We make dead soft copper head gaskets that eliminate head gasket failure and are built to handle extreme temperatures and pressures.  They come in thickness' from .020" through .125", providing a perfect seal every time.  Our copper head gaskets are easy to apply and with care can be reused many times by re-annealing them.  O-ringing of block is recommended before application.  Please state desired thickness with part number when ordering.

Rubber Intake End Seals
Use for sealing the front and rear of the block where it meets the intake manifold.   Same seals that are supplied with the stock valley pan gasket set.  Available separately for use with TA composite gaskets.

NOTE:     Gap between block and bottom side of intake should be measured to ensure proper sealing of the intake without distorting the intake manifold or end seal.

Exhaust Gaskets
Heat resistant TA Performance exhaust gaskets are made of a sturdy, yet pliable material that allows for a better seal.  These gaskets have been cut to match exhaust side of head perfectly.

Please note: Starting in mid September 2003, TA has changed their Stage 1 Header gasket specs., for the better. P/N TA 1720 is no longer our base paper family type gasket, it is now our Premium gasket offering a steel core with carbon graphite. Our TA 1720A p/n is now our entry level gasket and the TA 1720B is now our mid grade gasket.

This gasket design has gained an impressive reputation for handling the excessive cylinder pressures found in some of the most severe Turbo Regal cars. Available in several different thickness' ranging from .027" to .120" please call for exact sizes. Note: V6 gaskets work with 8 bolt or 14 bolt configurations. 400-430-455 works with 10 bolt or 14 bolt configurations.
