Use the following guidelines to help you choose the correct Intake Manifold for your needs:

1200 jpg TN.JPG (1742 bytes)    The S.P.1 is the most powerful intake manifold for the Buick Big Block for the street and strip. No other intake out performs the S.P.1, for street/strip combinations!  Power range is between 2500-6500 RPM. This manifold is a single plane design. If you want the maximum performance from your engine this is the intake for you.  This intake will NOT work with cars using factory type ram air, air cleaners.  Must use a low profile air cleaner base and 3" element, in order to fit under the hood. This is an aggressive looking high rise intake, so stealth is not obtainable. This intake is not for sale or use in California on Pollution Controlled Vehicles.

The SPX is the best choice for race applications where RPM is going to be 4000 + RPM  and where peak HP is 6500 + RPM. Limited street use, this intake prefers higher RPM, low RPM driving results in fuel dropping out of the charge and can lead to raw fuel in the cylinders. The SP-1 is best for street/strip combinations. Fits Stock Iron heads, Stage 1 SE and Stage 2 SE heads. Does not fit Track Eliminator, Stage 3 or Stage 4.

1235 bmp TN.BMP (16198 bytes)    The 350 Stage 1 intake manifold is the ultimate intake for the Buick 350, it out performs other manufacturer's intakes... by far. This intake is a dual plane design with a power range between 0-7200 RPM.  It is similar in height as the stock intake and will work with cars using original type ram air, air cleaners. This intake is an excellent choice when upgrading from 2 barrel to 4 barrel.  Stealth is obtainable when painted to match. This intake manifold is not for use or sale in California on Pollution Controlled Vehicles.

The Edelbrock Performer intake is a good all around intake for the street and limited race for 400-430-455 engines. Power Range is between 0-5000 RPM. This manifold is a dual plane design. The Edelbrock retains similar height as the stock manifold, so cars using original type ram air can utilize this intake.  Stealth is obtainable with this intake when painted to match. This intake is emissions legal in all 50 states, on Non-EGR Equipped Vehicles.

The Offenhauser dual-quad and tri-power intakes are designed for people who want the most aggressive look they can obtain for their Buick Big Block or Nailhead enginesThese intakes are taller than stock and the use of low profile air cleaners are required in most applications. The Offenhauser intake is an excellent performer, as well.  These intakes are not for sale or use in California on Pollution Controlled Vehicles.

V6 Intakes. 198-225-231-252 Buick V6 carbureted applications. We offer Edelbrock and Offenhauser intakes for most combinations. Check 'em out.
