TA main studs are stronger and more practical than the stock main bolts. The benefits of installing our main studs are increasing bearing life by preventing main cap walk, while giving additional strength to the bottom end of your engine. Studs will draw down more evenly producing better clamping force and because studs aren't removed as often as bolts they provide less wear on block threads. All studs are thread rolled and machined from the highest quality heat treated 8740 chrome moly steel. All kits also include heat treated hex nuts and parallel-ground washers for proper installation. Recommended for street or competition build ups.
