This brand new oil pan is made from heavy gauge steel and pressed into shape just like the original pans. Special features of this pan include 1-2 quart additional capacity, plus a beaded pan rail for additional strength and gasket security. We "dropped" the entire bottom of the pan from the oil pan rail about 3/8 inch to increase clearance between the oil pan and the crankshaft (to reduce windage and free up horsepower), dropped the sump about 3/4 inch, and eliminated the “kick in” in the back of the pan order to increase the capacity further.The pan will hold 6 quarts of oil at the "full" line on the dipstick, but we recommend only running 5 quarts on the street.

Please note this pan will not work with cars that have an original single exhaust cross over. Dual exhaust or a custom cross over will be required.
