TA Performance has just released their new Hydraulic Roller Camshafts for the Buick 215-300-340 engines. This hydraulic roller camshaft brings modern day technology to your old vintage Buick. Many of today’s oils lack the additives that protect a standard non-roller camshaft and lifters from wear which can lead to failure. With a hydraulic roller cam, the lifters roll over the cam lobes versus sliding which greatly reduces friction and thus leads to less wear and increased performance. The camshafts are made of Induction Hardened 1050 Steel Billet material which handles higher spring pressures required for fast ramping profiles.

The cams are hardened to 58 – 60 Rockwell, lobe profiles parameters are .310 -.380 Lobe Lift and 108 -112 Lobe Separation, 106 -114 depending on amount of lobe lift. The cams are available with the grind of your choice or as a blank.
