Offenhauser Nailhead Intake Notes

On most late 50's thru mid 60's Buicks, there are hood clearance issues when using the Offy intakes. We highly recommended using the Low Rise version intakes with drop base, short air cleaners. It may also be necessary to cut one or two studs that secure the center hood molding, if equiped. Earlier Buicks and most street rod applications should not have clearance issues.
